Our Membership Options and Dues

Moms4Moms has three membership types. Here is a description of each:

Family Membership: $30/year. This membership gives you full access to all the groups events including family events, moms events, kids events, philanthropy events, holiday parties, playgroups and all our clubs including scrapbooking/craft, babysitting and book club. All members help contribute to the group by participating on a committee or serving in a leadership role. This is a fun way to meet and work with other parents and kids in the group to help plan events and showcase your talents. Members have full access to our private online community to connect with other moms! You will be asked to serve on either the Kids Committee, Moms Committee or Philanthropy Committee.

Moms Only Membership: $15/year. This membership type is offered to moms who do not wish to participate in the kids’ activities and playgroups but would like to attend the adult only offerings such as the monthly parent and moms only events, book club & scrapbooking/craft club. You will also have access to our online community to connect with other moms! You will be asked to serve on the Moms Committee or Philanthropy Committee.

Alumni Membership: $15/year. This membership type is offered to moms who have been a full member for a minimum of three consecutive years including committee involvement and is subject to board approval.

Our Committees

All members are asked to donate their time and talents to our group by serving on one committee or an executive board position. There are currently three (3) committees including Moms’ Events, Kids’ Events and Philanthropy. Each committee works with a committee chairperson to plan monthly activities or assist in projects throughout the year. Committee participation is what makes our group run smoothly and we appreciate your volunteer efforts! "Moms Only" members should choose between the Moms' Events Committee or Philanthropy Committee.

Philanthropy:  Help plan monthly charity events. Activities might include collections for those in need (food, clothing, etc.), fundraising, informative seminars (recycling, going "green", agencies in need), Earth Day event and other activities to support local charities, improve the environment and give back to our community.

Kid Events:  Help plan monthly kid events. Find free activities around town, plan a craft, plan an educational tour, museum or library event, lunch or brunch playdate, etc.

Mom Events:  Help plan monthly 'adult only' events. Activities might include dinner out, movie, crafts, educational speaker, couples event, cooking, spa night, fondue party, etc.

Our Parties

All Member Events: Throughout the year  we have an "All Member" Events. This is a great opportunity to welcome our newest families and rekindle friendships with seasoned members. There are lots of great foods to eat, toys and crafts for the little ones (day events) and an opportunity to develop friendships with other moms in our group.

Spring Party: This family event is usually held on a weekend sometime between March and May. Past years' parties have included an Easter egg hunt, indoor waterpark experience, spring crafts and games, family friendly food and lots of fun.

Summer Party: This family event is usually held on a weekend between June and August. Past years' parties have included an outdoor sprinkler park, live entertainment, petting zoo and pony rides, summer crafts and games, family friendly food and lots of fun.

Halloween Party: This family event is usually held on a weekend in October. Past years' parties have included a costume parade, clowns and face painting, crafts and games, family friendly food and lots of fun.

Holiday Party: This family event is usually held on a weekend in December. Past year's parties have included Christmas music, a special visit from Santa Claus including photo opportunities and one on one time with each child, holiday crafts and games, family friendly food and lots of fun.

Moms Only Holiday Party: This Moms Only event is held in December and is an opportunity to have a fun night out without the kids. It's also the end of the year wrap up party for our out-going executive board and a welcome party for the incoming volunteer leaders of our group. Great food, beverages and a white elephant gift exchange brings a lot of laughter and much needed relaxation during a traditionally busy time of year.
